Abeba Tours - we would give it 5 Trip Advisor stars. A well organised, thoughtful tour operator based in central Addis Ababa
Just to say thank you very much for organising all the trips I had, I had a great time! I have to say that the service I got from you was always very professional and to western standards, which gave me a lot of confidence. The fact that you sent an invoice and the other documents with practical information and more was excellent in particular.
As I mentioned on the first day over the phone, DJ is such a lovely guy. He also displayed very high standards of service and he was great company too. His driving is excellent and he really knows how to look after people.
Depart south from Addis Ababa via Butajira. On the way you will visit the archeological sites of Tiya (ancient stelae field and UNESCO World Heritage Site), Adadi Maryam (a rock-hewn church similar to those in Lalibela) and Melka Kunture (pre-historic tool-making site). Final destination for the day is Awassa. Overnight in Awassa (hotel).
Start the day looking down on Addis Ababa from Entoto Mountain, the capital of Ethiopia before Addis Ababa. Here you will have panoramic views of the city with fresh air from the eucalyptus forests. Here you will visit the Entoto Maryam church and museum.
After the visit, proceed down to Addis Ababa via Shiro Meda, the city’s largest market for traditional clothes.
Proceed to the campus of Addis Ababa University to the ethnographical museum, with great displays of the many cultures of Ethiopia, housed in the former palace of Haile Selassie.

Hello to Abeba Tours,
I just wish to personally thank you all for the superb time we had recently in Addis Ababa.
We were all so impressed at the professionalism of our ground arrangements with your company, your office staff's resourcefulness in getting us to a hospital (for a tour) at such short notice, our guide's endless knowledge and good humour and our driver's friendliness and adaptability!!
We were truly impressed and wish your company every success.
Depart east from Addis Ababa to Awash National Park. In the evening you will have a chance to do a short game drive to see the local wildlife, such as oryx, baboons, greater and lesser kudu, warthogs, gazelles, colubus monkeys. Additionally, you’d be very lucky to see leopards, lions, and other cats. The landscapes in the park are beautiful, looking over the Awash Gorge. Today you can drive deep into the park, near the hot springs. Overnight in Awash National Park (lodge or camping).
